Twenty Years with my head in London, but Staffordshire has my heart.
I spent two decades in London's tech industry, always in the middle of the fast pace and the big builds. In 2019 I moved away from London to Staffordshire, though I never stepped back from the industry itself, I've kept working in London tech ever since. I fell for this place almost by accident, and it wasn't long before the decision made itself: this is where I wanted to raise a family.

Bundaberg and Cooper came with the move: one very large, one very determined to keep up. Between them they've dragged me into more rivers and fields than I can count, and I wouldn't change a bit of it. Countryside roots now, tech still very much in the blood.

Staffordshire gave my family a home. bristowmedia is my way of giving something back to it: real, hands-on help for the businesses that make this area what it is, from someone who's actually local, not a call centre three time zones away.

Give me a big research problem and I'm happy for days. That instinct is exactly what pulled me into AI in February 2026, and I leaned in hard. I'd already seen what it could do inside big firms, and I couldn't shake the feeling that smaller businesses deserved the same edge, not the leftovers.
